Estari, founded in 2Q 2001 was originally established as a document management software development company. In the latter part of 2001, Estari was contacted by an agency of the U.S. government regarding our patented concept for a dual-screen computer. In response to that request, Estari proceeded with the development of the 2-VU™.

In early 2002 Estari expanded their intellectual property by securing rights to the patents of the dual screen concept in Canada, Russia, Australia, Japan, Germany, Taiwan and China. In late 2003, Estari manufactured the first 2-VU™ Personal Computer.

The 2-VU™ is the world's first dual-screen mobile computer and comes installed with a powerful document management software package developed by FileScout Software Solutions, Inc (a wholly owned subsidiary of Estari). With FileScout’s dual-screen applicability exclusively licensed to Estari, the 2-VU’s™ hardware and software combination will revolutionize the way people do their computing.

George Crist, President, founded Computer Maintenance Service (CMS) in 1985. PC Parts, Inc., a computer parts distributor, grew out of CMS in 1991. The company has since grown into a multi-million dollar distribution facility with more than 40 full time employees. Prior to founding Computer Maintenance Service, Crist worked for IBM and FedEx. Crist served on the Board of Directors for Everybook, Inc. He earned a B.S. from Lock Haven State University and served in the U.S. Army in the Intelligence field.
