Estari’s 2-VU™ Personal Computer allows you to read documents, publications, and pages in their originally designed format (portrait mode) using mobile dual-screen technology. The 2-VU™ also offers full interaction through the use of an on-screen keyboard and touch-screen technology. A standard keyboard and mouse can also be employed.

Estari’s dual-screen 2-VU™ computer allows users to view and work on two things at the same time. For example: two files or documents, be searching the Internet on one screen while working with a Word documents on the other, or studying text while simultaneously viewing an X-ray.

While blending all the best features of other computing and reading devices, the 2-VU™ also offers ease of portability. With Estari’s portable 2-VU™, you can have all of your electronic files, reference publications, manuals, prices lists, training materials, sales presentations with you wherever you go – and read them as they were intended, in a dual-screen portrait format.

Because the 2-VU™ is a Windows® based operating system, most software applications based on the Windows® platform will function with little or no enhancement required. Additionally, since most human interaction with information is in the portrait mode, such as with paper, the portrait mode displays of the 2-VU™ will optimize many software applications.

We not not support linux at this time.

Dual operating systems can be run on the 2-VU using VMware Workstation. However, the touch screens on the 2-VU do not function in this mode so data input is limited to a traditional keyboard and mouse.

Not at this time. Tablet XP requires electromagnetic screen technology used with a special design, dedicated stylus, thus the need for a digitizer. We are introducing the 2-VU™ with resistive overlay technology, allowing for touch-screen use with a standard stylus or the fingertip.

The Estari 2-VU screens are 1024 x 768 per screen or 1536 x 1024 across both screens.
